Shia LaBeouf Seen on Bourbon Street After Arrest
NEW ORLEANS, La. (KMDL-FM) - For most people, if they got arrested for allegedly causing a disturbance in a bar in the wee hours of the morning, they'd probably lie low for at least a while after that. Not actor Shia LaBeouf.
LaBeouf, the "Transformers" and "Holes" star, was arrested on Mardi Gras Day on two counts of simple battery.

What Happened on Royal Street
According to the New Orleans Police Department, they responded to the 1400 block of Royal Street on a call that LaBeouf allegedly caused a disturbance and became "increasingly aggressive" at a nearby business.
Details From the New Orleans Police
NOPD said a staff member tried to get LaBeouf to leave, and after he exited, the staffer was allegedly punched by LaBeouf several times. LaBeouf then left the scene, but came back.
When he returned, witnesses say he was even more aggressive than before. Multiple people attempted to restrain him. When bystanders let him go, hoping he would leave on his own, he allegedly struck the same victim again. He then punched a second person in the nose.

He was held down by bystanders until police arrived, transported to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries, and arrested upon his release.
Released on Recognizance
But LaBeouf wasn't in jail long. He was released on his own recognizance by Criminal District Judge Simone Levine before his scheduled first appearance in the Orleans Parish Magistrate Court. (It's not clear when LaBeouf will be required to return to court.)
Spotted on Bourbon Street Later That Night
What we do know is that he returned to the heart of the Mardi Gras celebration later in the day. LaBeouf was spotted on Bourbon Street partying it up and dancing the night away, complete with his release papers in hand!
“God bless you guys. Mardi Gras is amazing,” LaBeouf said when asked how he was enjoying the holiday late in the day.
Below is a short interview that Baton Rouge TV station WAFB was able to grab with him while on the streets of Bourbon.
