Powerball Confirms Big Wins Saturday Night in Texas and Louisiana

Louisiana Lottery Powerball Results - $100,000 Winner Sold for Saturday Drawing

Our sources at the Louisiana Lottery have been unable to give us complete point of purchase information a $100,000 winning ticket that was confirmed to have been sold in the state. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. The ticket's purchaser opted to add the Power Play option. That doubled the $50,000 prize to $100,000 for Saturday's drawing.

In the Louisiana Lottery's other Saturday draw games, after getting an $825,000 winner Wednesday there was no big winner in the Lotto drawing. The Easy 5 jackpot on Saturday was $120,000. There was no big winner in that game either. The estimated jackpot for the next Easy 5 on Wednesday is $130,000 while the Lotto money will be an estimated $525,000.

How Much Are the Mega Millions and Powerball Jackpots?

Mega Millions will draw for at least $1.1 billion, maybe more on Tuesday. Powerball will have a drawing on Monday. The estimated annuitized jackpot for that drawing is $800 million. If you wanted to take the lump sump payout your winnings would be $384.8 million.
