For Louisiana Powerball players this week's lucky number has got to be 150,000. I know, that's kind of an odd figure for a lucky number but 150,000 as in dollars is how much big money tickets sold in Louisiana for the past two Powerball drawings have paid. Yeah, we got another one.

The Louisiana Lottery confirmed on Monday that a ticket sold in Shreveport matched the necessary numbers to claim a prize of $150,000. We have now learned from the Louisiana Lottery that a state-sold ticket for Wednesday's Powerball game also produced a $150,000 win.

If you missed Wednesday's drawing here's how it unfolded.

Last night's game was for the "life-changing" amount of $153.8 million dollars. Here are the numbers that were drawn for the November 1, 2023, Powerball.

22   26   39   47   63   Powerball 12  Power Play x3

You can confirm those numbers when you visit the Powerball website. According to that website, no tickets sold across the game's footprint matched the numbers needed to take the game's jackpot of $153.8 million dollars. But there were three Match 5 Million Dollar winners sold for the drawing. According to Powerball, those tickets were sold in California, Florida, and Washington.

The Texas Lottery is once again reporting no "big wins" in Wednesday's Powerball game. Just so you know, we count a "big win" as any single ticket that pays more than $10,000. It's the second Powerball drawing in a row that players in Texas have been completely shut out from the top tier of prizes in the game.

But, Texas' loss is Louisiana's gain? As we've mentioned a Louisiana ticket sold in Shreveport was a $150,000 winner on Monday. We now know that the $150,000 winner sold for Wednesday's drawing was sold in Baton Rouge.

That's the Racetrac gas station at 5015 Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge, that's where the $150,000 winner for Wednesday was sold. If you are holding the big money winner that matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball, plus had opted-in on the Power Play you need to sign the back of that ticket as soon as you can.

To collect your prize you'll need to contact your nearest Louisiana Lottery office and congratulations. Now, if you didn't win and feel as if your gambling has gotten out of control help is available and it's free to arrange. Just call 1-877-770-STOP (7867) for a free and confidential referral to a counselor who can help. Good Luck.
