In an interview with The Hidden Underbelly 2.0., Ortiz says while doorbell camera caught the mysterious figure walking in front of her house, strangely her motion-sensor cameras outside of her home detected nothing.

They were never triggered.

Once Ortiz noticed the odd figure on video, she says she asked her son to take a look to see what he thought it could be.

According to abc7 her son "saw the video like three times and he's like 'Mom it's an alien, call the cops.'"

Ortiz said at that point she was scared and didn't know what to do. She knew she would sound crazy if she called the cops to tell them she had an alien in her yard.

In an effort to identify the shadowy figure, bloggers and YouTube commenters have speculated that it is simply a person carrying plastic bags, or a child -- or an actual extraterrestrial.

Not-So-Nice Nicknames for 10 Louisiana Towns

Nicknames are a wonderful thing if you happen to be given the right one. That's the problem with nicknames, you don't get to pick your own. So, depending on the kind of people you hang out with your pseudonym is either a flattering referral to a trait you own. Or it's a sarcastic reminder of your shortcomings. The same rules apply when it comes to the nicknames we use for the communities we love. Although, from some of these nicknames, I'm not sure I can feel the love tonight, or any night for that matter.
