Louisiana Man Stabbed While Asleep in Own Bed
(Jennings, Louisiana) - A man in South Louisiana is recovering from stab wounds after a woman allegedly stabbed him while he was in his bed.
News 15 reports that Jetyrenee Williams, 28, is charged with attempted second-degree murder after she allegedly stabbed a 58-year-old man in the neck and hand while he was sleeping.
Police were called to a hospital, where the man was taken after the stabbing, after medical professionals noticed that his injuries resembled those of a stabbing
Williams was soon thereafter arrested not far from the crime scene in Jennings, and no bail was announced for her.
According to the news report, Williams was invited to the home where the alleged stabbing occurred the day before, but a motive was not yet determined or released by police.
