East Texas Braces for Heavy Rain, Winds, and Possible Tornadoes

Fall Cold Front Brings Potentially Dangerous Weather to East Texas

East Texas is very familiar with severe weather during the Spring, with torrential downpours, large hail, high winds, lightning, and very destructive tornadoes. What to Expect From Wednesday’s Cold Front
A cold front is on the way, and it will bring with it some cooler, less humid air and the chance of heavy rainfall, high winds, possible hail, and the possibility of a tornado.
Showers and thunderstorms will begin overnight on Wednesday and move through the area throughout the morning on Wednesday before exiting the region by mid-afternoon. Local meteorologists are calling for periods of heavy rainfall with possible gusty winds, and a few strong thunderstorms could produce some small hail during the first part of Wednesday.
