Mr. Yogi, The Great Pyrenees, Is A Big Bundle Of Joy

Mr. Yogi has been under the care of and living at the Pets Fur People shelter in Tyler now for more than two years. That's way too long for an animal to be living in a kennel. He needs a permanent home so he can live out his golden years with a lot of comfortable space.

During his extended stay at the shelter, Mr. Yogi has seen a lot of other dogs come and go and while he patiently waits for a loving family to walk in the doors and adopt him just like what's happened for a lot of his other shelter buddies.

Mr. Yogi has seen a lot in his twelve years and he still has a lot of love left to give to a loving family that commits to adopting him and love him unconditionally, because that's all he has to give. Unconditional love.

Mr. Yogi is a Great Pyrenees. This breed of dog is calm, well-mannered, and serious. They are also known for their great devotion to the family including well-behaved children.

Gayle Helms, Pets Fur People's executive director says, that Great Pyrenees are also known to be trustworthy, affectionate, and gentle. Still, if the need arises they will not hesitate to protect their family and territory. Mr. Yogi is a much larger dog, weighing about a hundred pounds. So, if you're looking to adopt and looking for an easy-going, fun-loving but serious dog when they need to be, Mr. Yogi is your guy.
