Candy The Kitten Is Eager To Move To Her Fur-ever Home
It's not that often we feature a cat or kitten as our Pet Of The Week and that's exactly what we're doing this week. June is National Adopt A Cat Month. Over the past couple of months, lots of kittens have been born in East Texas and now they're ending up in the care of the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler.
Candy is one of those kittens that is living at the shelter. She was born in early April and now she is looking for a permanent home away from Pets Fur People and ready to start her life in a new place. She is about eight weeks old and has a beautiful grey and long white coat to her.
While holding this cute kitten you'll hear her purring machine running in overdrive as she loves to have her tummy rubbed. As with any kitten, she's energetic, funny, and loves chasing things around.
The Cattery at Pets Fur People has a great selection of kittens in all different colors just waiting to be adopted. In addition to being low maintenance, cats also make for great pets for those who live in an apartment because they're quiet creatures and don't bark, unlike many dogs!
When you adopt Candy, she'll go home with a starter kit of food too. For information on adopting Candy call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
