Alison Krauss & Union Station Reunion Coming To Shreveport

One of the most celebrated voices in American music is making her way back to the Shreveport-Bossier area. The bluegrass icon Alison Krauss has announced a massive new tour with Union Station, and it is bringing them smackdab in the middle of Shreveport.

This is a huge deal because this is the first time in a decade that Alison Krauss & Union Station are hitting the road together. They are calling this the Arcadia Tour...and it is set to be one of the biggest musical events of the year for the 318.

Alison Krauss Returns to Shreveport in 2026

The artist with 27 Grammy Awards to her name, will be taking the stage at the historic Shreveport Municipal Auditorium on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The Muni is the perfect spot for this show...the acoustics in that building were basically made for the kind of bluegrass and roots music that Krauss and her band have perfected.

But she already knows that. Because Alison Krauss has performed on that stage before. But not as a solo artist, or with Union Station...instead with the living legend Robert Plant (2023). Based on the available tour information online, that is the only time Alison Krauss has performed in Shreveport. Never as a solo artist, and never with Union Station. Making this a really special night for her fans.

This night is going to be even more special, because they are bringing some local friends along for the ride. You will see 318 Greats, The Cox Family as well. They will be joining the bill as special guests.

If you're not familiar with The Cox Family, they're a Grammy Award winning band from Cotton Valley, Louisiana...less than 50 miles from the front doors of the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. They are long time collaborators with Alison Krauss, who signed them to her label, helped produce, and sang on their 1993 debut album "Everybody's Reaching Out For Someone".
