Geek'd Con 2026: Joe Rubinstein Joins Shreveport Lineup

Shreveport’s comic con, Geek'd Con, is officially back on the calendar for 2026. Back in Downtown Shreveport, just like it has been for the past decade. The massive pop culture event will take over the Shreveport Convention Center, from August 14th through the 16th, with a full weekend of entertainment.

The event has grown into one of the premiere family activities in Shreveport...offering something for every kind of fan. It remains the top destination for those looking to experience a professional comic book convention, with the convenience of a local event.

Marvel Legend Joe Rubinstein Joining The 2026 Lineup

The 2026 guest list continues to grow with the addition of Hall of Fame artist Joe Rubinstein. He holds a Guinness World Record for his work on The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe...and is an Eisner Award-winning talent!

That's right, Rubinstein is a full blown Eisner Award Winner.

Fans will recognize his work on some of the most iconic books in comic history. Including the definitive 1982 Wolverine miniseries with Frank Miller, and the original Infinity Gauntlet with the late legend George Perez.

Rubinstein also inked the first in-story appearance of iconic X-Men hero Gambit in X-Men 266. His credits also include work on titles like Captain America, Batman, and Superman.

History Of Geek'd Con Guests
