Last year, Shreveport Police were dispatched to Audrey Lane to a reported theft that occurred at the Sam’s Town Casino and Hotel.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the complainant, who advised that he arrived at Sam’s Town Casino, at around 9:40 p.m. The victim told SPD that he parked his vehicle, which had a trailer attached, with a Honda generator on it, in the casino’s parking garage.
When the victim went back to his car early the next day, he discovered the found that the generator had been stolen.
Shreveport Police contacted Sam’s Town Casino and was able to get the surveillance footage of the incident. The video shows a man, later identified as Colton Walker, showing up to the casino in a Ford Maverick and parking next to the victim’s trailer. Walker was seen getting out of his vehicle, taking the generator, loading it into the bed of the truck, and leaving.
