
Shreveport Police Make Multiple Arrests in Domestic Violence Crackdown
Shreveport, LA — The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) has reported a series of arrests stemming from separate domestic violence investigations conducted over the past several weeks.
Officers responded to a report where the victim alleged his girlfriend, Keiala McHenry, pointed a firearm at him during a physical altercation. Authorities noted that a child under the age of 13 was present during the incident.
Corroborating statements from additional witnesses led to McHenry being taken into custody. She was transported to the Shreveport City Jail and booked on the charge of Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault – Child Endangerment Law.
On September 10, 2025, police responded to a call on Burson Drive. The male victim reported that his girlfriend, Suzanna Smith, struck him multiple times in the face following a verbal argument.
The victim disclosed a history of prior unreported abuse, providing officers with photos of previous injuries alongside those sustained in the recent incident. Their 2-year-old son was inside the home at the time. Smith was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery With Child Endangerment.
The end of October saw the arrests of two individuals on multiple charges. On October 30, 2025, officers arrested Jennifer Hamilton for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery and three counts of Domestic Abuse Battery With Child Endangerment.
Also stemming from an incident on October 30, 2025, Cavisia Goode was arrested and charged with one count of
- Domestic Abuse Battery by Strangulation,
- three counts of Domestic Abuse Battery With Child Endangerment,
- and one count of Violation of a Protection Order.
Detectives from the SPD Domestic Violence Unit apprehended Antonio White following a traffic stop. White had active warrants for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery by Strangulation and one count of Domestic Abuse Battery.
In addition to the warrant charges, White was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and other traffic violations.
