Shreveport Police Arrest Three in Separate Domestic Cases

The Shreveport Police Department is continuing its efforts to combat domestic violence within our community.

Officers have made arrests related to incidents involving violence against members of the suspect's households:

· Christopher Moran was arrested and charged with one count of Domestic Abuse Battery with Serious Bodily Injury and one count of Domestic Abuse Battery, Second Degree.

· Hunter George was arrested and charged with two counts of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment, one count of Battery of a Dating Partner with Strangulation, and one count of Simple Battery.

· Derek Smith was arrested and charged with three counts of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment.

Each of these incidents involved acts of violence against household or family members.

SPD has been cracking down on the domestic violence problem in Shreveport. It's one of the fastest growing crimes in this community, and Police want to make sure all perpetrators of it are brought to justice.
