Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Stolen Firearms

On October 29, 2024, Shreveport Police Department (SPD) officers arrested 23-year-old Rodriques Howard after discovering he was in possession of multiple firearms, including a stolen pistol, in the 700 block of West 73rd Street.

At approximately 11:50 AM, SPD officers noticed Howard acting suspiciously while walking in the middle of the street. Upon investigation, officers found an AR-style rifle and a pistol in his backpack. Further inspection confirmed that the pistol had been reported as stolen. Howard was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
