Caddo Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Man for Gun and Drug Possession

Last week, Caddo Parish Sheriff's Patrol Deputies were active in the Blanchard area.

Patrol Deputies were able to stop a car for a traffic violation near North Market. After an investigation, a CPSO Deputy, along with the help of K9 Deputy "Rougie" searched the car. During the search, Deputies were able to find a handgun that had been reported stolen by the Ruston Police Department, along with a small quantity of marijuana

CPSO arrested the passenger in the car 25 year-old Bernard Moses Jr. from Shreveport, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a stolen firearm.

"Moses was transported to the Caddo Correctional Center, where he was booked on the aforementioned charges."
