The 2023 Juneteenth Freedom Celebration takes place throughout four days of family-friendly scheduled events. Come one, come ALL June 16 - 19, mainly at the Lake Charles Civic (unless noted.) Brought to you by the SWLA Center For Health Services, in conjunction with John G. Lewis Sr. #165/Prince Hall Affiliated.

Lake Charles and surrounding area residents are invited to participate in this Federal Holiday and celebration of freedom! Family-oriented activities are planned throughout the Juneteenth daily events, culminating on Monday, June 19, 2023.

The main event is 'Festival Day' featuring food trucks and booths, music, live entertainment local and from afar, arts and crafts, home goods, hair care products and treatments, skincare and beauty, empowerment seminars, and much more!

If you, your civic organization, place of employment, church, fraternity, sorority, or business want to participate in the Juneteenth Parade, now is the time to register your float or vehicles! In addition, if you would like a merch or food booth, fill out a vendor form now as time is running out.

Below see the individual flyers to include vendor, parade, and cook-off registration and full details about the 'Festival Day' entertainment line-up.
