Carl Krielow and his wife are the proud winners of the 2022 St. Jude Dream House in Lake Charles. Krielow told KPLC he was and still is in disbelief that they won the amazing new home. The Dream Home is a dream come true for the couple from Roanoke, LA. The Krielows didn't make out too bad. They had bought Dream Home raffle tickets in the past but splurged this year and purchased two $100 tickets.

That $200 donation to St. Jude Research Hospital will be put to good use, while the Krielow family will enjoy their new $600,000, 3,400-square-foot, two-story dream home.

There were 12,000 St. Jude Dream Home raffle tickets sold this year, and they were all gone in an impressive 39 hours. This annual fundraiser helped St. Jude raise $1.2 million. FYI, it costs nearly $2.2 billion to run St. Jude Research Hospital annually. Operations are paid for through donations, which allow this incredible hospital to provide life-saving treatment and care to hundreds of children with catastrophic diseases for free.

The Dream Home raffle is a national fundraiser critical to keeping St. Jude running. Congrats to the Krielow family and all of the other prize winners. Here's a look at other 2022 St. Jude Dream Home winners across the country.
