Whataburger Cooks Up Deal To Be ‘Official Hamburger’ Of McNeese Athletics
LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA: One of the most popular hamburger chains in the South, Whataburger, has signed a corporate sponsorship with the McNeese Athletic Foundation as the Official Hamburger of McNeese Athletics, Director of Athletics Heath Schroyer announced on Thursday.
"I couldn't be happier to welcome Whataburger to our corporate sponsorship team," said Schroyer. "They are truly invested in this community and in McNeese. Their management team is first class and I look forward to growing this partnership into the future!"
Operating since 1950 and founded in Corpus Christi, Texas, Whataburger recently opened three locations in Southwest Louisiana with restaurants in Lake Charles, Sulphur and DeRidder, and has a total of 27 locations in Louisiana and over 1,000 locations in 16 states from Nevada to South Carolina.

The "Whataburger Wednesday" promotion will begin on Wednesday, August 21 and is redeemable at the Lake Charles location only which is at 1835 Country Club Road.
