Did you know there is a website where you can check on how safe patients are at hospitals all across the country?

A group of specialists from Harvard, Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, Stanford, UC Davis, Vanderbilt, and the CDC provided guidance to Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade in developing a hospital performance scale.
It's a significant undertaking; they examine 27 parameters, with a strong emphasis on infection rates, surgical complications, patient falls, safety precautions, error-prevention protocols, staff training, and staff communication.
