When your child leaves home to attend college, parents not only want their children to receive a top-notch education but also want their kids to be safe. In Texas, six universities made the Top 25 list for most dangerous college campuses in America.

The website Degree Choices’s list released a list of the “27 Most Dangerous College Campuses.” They looked up statistics on violent crimes on campus at public, private, and nonprofit universities with at least 500 students from the U.S. Department of Education.
