LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA: The retail giant, who started in Beaumont, Texas 134 years ago has filed for bankruptcy and is closing every Louisiana location down. We have all the details.

The company has over 170 locations around nationwide and USA Today is reporting that they have decided to close all locations in 15 states around the country down.

USA Today is also reporting that Conn’s HomePlus lost over $77 million last year. Because of this downturn in business, the company has decided to declare Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

KPLC is reporting that the company will also be closing all 380 stores of another brand that it owns called Badcock Home Furniture & More.
