JD is a 6-foot-6 and 220 pound three-star recruit. He's the #15 tight end in the nation and the #13 prospect in Louisiana according to 247 Sports.

LaFleur had other offers from Florida, Miami, Texas, and Texas Tech, but chose to follow in his father's footsteps and stay in state and play Saturday nights in Death Valley.

John David, a Junior, is the third player to commit to the 2025 LSU recruiting class. Good luck JD!
