According to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries,

In Louisiana, anyone born on or after September 1, 1969 must complete a hunter education course approved by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and IHEA-USA before hunting. The course must teach hunters to be safe, responsible, and knowledgeable about hunting. Hunters must receive a certificate of satisfactory completion to hunt, unless they are under the direct supervision of a qualified person.

Because of this requirement, LDWF is always looking for men and women willing to become Hunter Education instructors and they'll soon hold a course for that purpose at the Woodworth Education Center in Woodworth, Louisiana just southwest of Alexandria, Louisiana.

Those passionate about hunting and teaching will be afforded the opportunity to become certified volunteer instructors for LDWF.
