Moe’s Southwest Grill Youree Drive Shreveport Closing Date Confirmed
After weeks of rumors swirling around town, it's now officially confirmed: one of Shreveport's favorite fast-casual spots is closing its doors for good.
The Moe's Southwest Grill on Youree Drive will cease operations next week, marking the end of the line for the restaurant in the Ark-La-Tex area. Staff at the Youree Drive location confirmed the news, stating they plan to stay open until Saturday, November 15th.
Unfortunately, the owner and operator didn't provide a specific public reason for the closure.
It’s always a bummer when a place like Moe's, which celebrates being unconventional and fighting blandness with "swagger and a spatula," shuts down. Their philosophy was all about fresh ingredients and a ridiculously long list of bold, extraordinary flavors that didn't follow the rules, and that's exactly why we loved it.
Farewell to the Rebel Spirit: Moe's Southwest Grill Philosophy
We’re all going to miss that startling "Welcome to Moe's!" shout that greets you the moment you walk through the door. It was a signature part of the experience, almost as important as the stack of chips.
This closure is particularly disappointing for local Moe's lovers because the Bossier location shut down several years ago. While many held out hope that the Youree Drive spot would stick around, it looks like this may truly be the end for the Southwestern Grill in the Shreveport-Bossier area.
The Clock Is Ticking: Closing Down Saturday, November 15th
If you want to grab one last burrito or bowl, you only have until November 15th to say your farewells! Moe's is located at 7141 Youree Dr, Shreveport, LA 71105
