Emergency! Be On Lookout For These Missing Louisiana Kids
Today's the first day of summer. Louisiana kids should be out enjoying the lake or collecting fireflies in Mason jars.
However, that is just not the case for a total of fifteen kids who have been reported in Louisiana since January 1 of this year.
And that's just here in Louisiana! Overall, according to the website missingkids.org, a staggering total of 969 children have been reported missing in America since the beginning of the year. That's a heart-breaking number.
Of course, one is too many, but fifteen in Louisiana, and 969 in America? It paints an ominous hue to the way we protect our children these days.
Considering the crippling problem of human trafficking that has put a grip on our country over the last few years, one would fear the absolute worst for the lion-share of these beautiful children.
One could argue that some of these kids disappeared because of horrific conditions at home and left of their own free will, but many others might not even know where they are or where their next meal might come from.
Some are children who have been traded or sold like livestock and being forced into doing ungodly things just to stay alive.
Please take a close look at these fifteen innocent faces and if you happen to recognize one, immediately call 911 and report it.
You never know how great the impact of your call might make to a child being held against their will.
