Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - This Is Home Fest started in 2021 after back-to-back hurricanes hit Southwest Louisiana. Organizers wanted to bring the community together and give people something to smile about. Since then, it has grown into one of the most special events in the area.

More than just a party, This Is Home Fest is a nonprofit organization. Since it began, it has given over $31,000 back to the local community. In 2021, the team even traveled to Kentucky to serve hot meals to tornado survivors, showing that the love of this community reaches far beyond Louisiana.

This Is Home Fest is held every year on the second to last weekend of April at the Lake Charles lakefront. It’s the perfect time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of Southwest Louisiana.

This exciting all-day event is packed with live music, delicious food, family fun, and a whole lot of hometown pride. There will be two music stages with something for everyone, from local favorites to big-name acts performing blues, zydeco, country, and more.
