Things To Do This Weekend In Lake Charles & SWLA March 7-9

Did you have fun during Mardi Gras? Did you not get enough? Are you ready to get out and do something fun? We have got you covered.

There are several concerts, live music spots, and events going on in the Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana area this weekend starting tonight and going through Sunday. Here is a list of things we know about.

R&B artist Babyface will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center Saturday night. The show gets underway at 8:00 pm.

Doc Wilder will be live at THe Boardwalk located on East McNeese Street in Lake Charles with his whole band playing live. Doc and the band will play from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm that night.

Leroy Thomas and the Zydeco Roadrunners will be live at Chaser's Bar & Grill on Friday night. Chaser's is located on the corner of Lake Street and University Drive in South Lake Charles. Leroy and the band will hit the stage at 9:30 pm Friday night.

Country singer Jason Ashley will be back in town for the first time in 10 years. Jason and the Twangsters Union will be live at the Horseshoe Casino inside Brew Brothers on Saturday night starting at 9:00 pm.

Several Farmers Markets are going on Saturday morning in the area. One in Lake Charles located on Biblo Street by the old courthouse, one in Moss Bluff on Highway 378, and one in Westlake at Millers Super Saver on Sampson Street. All three markets' hours are from 8:00 am to Noon.
