New Orleans Saints Face Rams in Second Preseason Test

Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - The New Orleans Saints will hit the road this weekend with a chance to turn the page on their preseason opener.

After dropping a 24-20 decision to the Jacksonville Jaguars last weekend, New Orleans will travel to California for its second preseason matchup of 2026. The Saints are scheduled to meet the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday, August 22, at SoFi Stadium, with kickoff set for 3 p.m. CT. Fans across Southwest Louisiana can watch the game on KPLC-TV Channel 7.

One of the biggest storylines heading into Saturday will be the expected preseason debut of quarterback Tyler Shough. The rookie did not take the field against Jacksonville, as New Orleans rotated its other quarterbacks, including Zach Wilson, Hunter Dekkers and Spencer Rattler.
