Rusty Metoyer Set for Big Zydeco Night in Lake Charles
Lake Charles, La [KNGT-FM] -One of Louisiana’s most exciting and fast-emerging Zydeco performers is set to make a milestone appearance in Lake Charles this weekend. Rusty Metoyer, a Southwest Louisiana native who has been gaining serious momentum on the Zydeco circuit, will take the stage with his band, Zydeco Krush.
If dancing is your thing, whether it’s jitterbugging, waltzing, or two-stepping, this is a show you won’t want to miss. Metoyer is known for delivering high-energy performances that keep the dance floor packed from start to finish. Fans can expect to hear his original songs alongside a mix of classic Cajun and Zydeco favorites that pay homage to Louisiana’s rich musical roots.

Rusty’s return to Lake Charles is especially meaningful, as this is the community where it all began. Born and raised in the area, Metoyer attended St. Louis High School before launching his music career. Now, he’s coming home with Zydeco Krush to showcase just how far his sound has traveled while staying true to its Louisiana roots.
