About Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Delta Pi was originally started in 1851 at Wesleyan Female College, making it the first secret society for women. The McNeese chapter focuses on four main values—scholarship, leadership, sisterhood, and service. Members work hard in school, volunteer in the community, and build strong lifelong friendships.
Miles That Matter 5K Hosted by Alpha Delta Pi
The Delta Eta Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi is inviting everyone in the Lake Charles community to lace up their running shoes for a great cause. The group is hosting a charity run in Downtown Lake Charles to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana. Proceeds from the event will also support the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation.
The event will take place at Escape Room Louisiana, where participants can check in between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. A short welcome speech will kick things off at 8:00 a.m., followed by the start of the 5K race. For those who prefer a shorter distance, a 1-mile fun run will begin shortly after the 5K starts.
