Sephora Making a Comeback in Lake Charles, Louisiana After Hiatus

Each week, we seem to get the news that a major retailer is closing its doors or filing for bankruptcy protection due to declining sales. This year alone, we have seen major retailers and restaurants shutting their doors or filing for bankruptcy, like Hooters, Forever 21, Party City, and more.

We saw firsthand last week that Hooters has started shutting down its locations, because we saw the location in Cozumel, Mexico, was closed down. With all the bad news of your favorite retailers and restaurants closing, we could use some good news, and we have it for you.

The popular beauty brand retailer Sephora is making its way back to Louisiana, and more specifically, they will be opening up a brand new location in Lake Charles, Louisiana. If you were like Wait, I thought we already had one in Lake Charles, you are partially correct.

We DID have a Sephora location in Lake Charles. It was located inside JCPenney inside the Prien Lake Mall. That location closed a couple of years ago after Sephora and JCPenney decided to part ways, leaving Lake Charles without a location of the popular makeup line.

We have now learned that Sephora is coming back to Lake Charles and will be housed inside the Kohl's Department Store inside the Prien Lake Mall. Nikki Buxton Wheatley, the Mall Manager at Prien Lake Mall at Simon Property Group, made the announcement yesterday. She said,
