Lorrie Morgan/Pam Tillis Show Has New Concert Date For Lake Charles
[KNGT-FM Lake Charles] Last weekend, Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis were supposed to perform live in Lake Charles, but the concert was postponed, and at the time, it was announced that due to unforeseen circumstances.
Then we found out over the weekend the sad news that Lorrie Morgan's husband had passed away, which now makes sense of why the show needed to be postponed. Family is the most important thing.
Morgan's husband, Randy White, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, from mouth cancer at the age of 72. According to People Magazine,
White, who was diagnosed with mouth cancer in 2024, died in the early morning hours of Sunday, June 1, per a statement shared with PEOPLE from Morgan’s friend and manager, Tony Conway.
Conway also shared the following statement from Morgan: “Randy has been my partner and my rock for 17 years. Our big, wonderful family and I are devastated at the loss of this truly kind and incredible man. I was blessed by his love. Ran-Ran, I will love and miss you forever.”
Unfortunately, Lorrie lost her first husband, too. She was married to the legendary country music singer Keith Whitley until his untimely death in May 1989.
Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan were currently on their The Grits and Glamour Tour when Morgan stepped away to be with her husband, Randy White. The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles just announced that the show has now been rescheduled after having to be postponed.
The new date for the show has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 17, 2026. Golden Nugget said in a statement on Facebook,
All purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase until July 3, 2025.
Guests who purchased tickets at the Box Office can request a refund in person at the Box Office Tuesday – Thursday from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
