Is Jim Cantore Dating A Woman From Louisiana?

The joke in Louisiana is that if The Weather Channel's Jim Cantore comes to your part of the state during hurricane season. you're in trouble because the storm is most likely coming your way. Such was the case for Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2020 when Jim Cantore landed here in Southwest Louisiana for Hurricane Laura.

He was broadcasting live from the back of the Golden Nugget Casino when Laura hit Lake Charles. More recently, meaning last month, he was in the Lafayette, Louisiana area awaiting the possible arrival of hurricane Francine which ultimately moved further to the East slamming into the East part of Louisiana and the New Orleans area.

The internet exploded yesterday with news that Jim Cantore is dating a woman from Louisiana and that she is much younger than the 60-year-old meteorologist. Her name is Jobie Lagrange and she is from Broussard, Louisiana. Lagrange is also a meteorologist and is 31 years old.

Jim Cantore posted a photo on his Instagram of Lagrange and him which blew up the internet. The post said,

Little did I know when I brought my sweet date Jobie to @euphoriagreenville she was going to bring the Louisiana heat with her.

 

His post on Instagram broke the news and let the cat out of the bag that he is dating the Louisiana native. So if you see Jim Cantore anywhere in Louisiana or more specifically in Acadiana, don't freak out just yet, he may just be visiting his girlfriend.
