Concerts & Events in Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend June 13-15
[KNGT-FM] We are moving into the middle of June, and the concert and festival scene is starting to heat up just like the Summertime temperatures. There are concerts going on in the area, outdoor events, and live music inside bars and restaurants in the area.
If you are over this week and are ready to get out and do something fun, we've got you covered. Here's what is going on in the area, so let's get to it.
Downtown at Sundown's final event of the season takes place Friday night in downtown Lake Charles. The four-week concert series finale will include three live bands that night. It gets underway at 6:00 pm and runs until 9:00 pm. The event takes place in the middle of Ryan Street in downtown Lake Charles. Here's who is playing.
- 6:00 PM-7:15 PM: The Debtors
- 7:30 PM-9:00 PM: Zach Edwards & the Medicine
- 9:00 PM: DJ Secret Stache (After Glow Show)
Wayne Toups and Zydecajun will be live at Jellystone RV Resort in Lake Charles Saturday night. It is open to the public, so even though you are not camping out at the park, you can still attend the concert. You just pay at the gate. Wayne will hit the stage starting at 7:00 pm.
The Holly Beach Crab Festival is taking place this weekend in Holly Beach, Louisiana. Jamie Bergeron, Travis Matte, and Damon Troy, along with many others, are set to perform live this weekend. Here's the entire lineup.
Several Farmers' Markets are going on Saturday morning in the area. One in Lake Charles, located on Biblo Street by the old courthouse, and one in Moss Bluff on Highway 378. All markets' hours are from 8:00 am to Noon.
