Walmart & Amazon Update Return Policy With Surprising Twist

🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Louisiana — If you're like me and have a busy life, then you probably buy alot of things online. Well Walmart and Amazon are making big changes in Louisiana on their new Return Policy.

Although this may seem like bad news, some Louisianan's are actually finding it much simpler to return.

Amazon and Walmart "Refund Without Return" is being offered. Return policies are being altered by Amazon and Walmart.

Refund Without Return: What Is It?

In certain situations, these large retailers are now providing a "refund without return." It sounds just like that. If an item is unwanted or wrong, you receive a refund without having to deal with the inconvenience of returning it...…hmmm, sounds fishy.

You can do whatever you wish with the unwanted items. Give it away, store it, use it, or throw it away. If this is provided to you, you will likely receive an email that reads, "Keep the item, your refund has been issued."

Why Is This Occurring?

Although this may seem like a victory for customers, it's actually a wise business decision. Facilitating returns fosters consumer loyalty and trust. Only inexpensive products are eligible for a refund without a return. Generally speaking, for goods where the shipping fee exceeds the item's value.

Walmart or Amazon must examine a returned item to determine whether it can be resold in addition to paying for transportation. In certain cases, it is more economical to provide a refund without requiring a return.

Seems to me like people are going to try and take advantage of this, but I'm sure Walmart and Amazon are already looking into ways around that. Happy shopping!
