Former McNeese Head Football Coach Accused Of Sexual Harassment
Former McNeese head football coach and current LSU running back coach Frank Wilson has been accused of sexual harassment by a former LSU associate athletic director.
CBS Sports is reporting that Wilson has been accused by Sharon Lewis, a former associate athletic director at LSU. Frank Wilson was employed by LSU in the same role, before this coaching stint, from 2010-15.
According to court filings obtained by The Advocate, Lewis claims that Wilson allegedly exposed himself to her and asked her to touch his genitalia. The documents also say that Lewis claims that Wilson allegedly attempted to kiss another LSU female employee without her consent.
When Lewis first filed her sexual harassment suit against LSU, Wilson was the head coach for McNeese. Coach Wilson was not named by Lewis in her first lawsuit. However, a federal judge gave Lewis until today to add more names to her new lawsuit, thus the addition of Wilson.
LSU spokesman Ernie Ballard told the Advocate on Thursday that they were unaware of any prior allegations against Wilson, and there's no evidence that these allegations were ever reported to the university.
Lewis' past allegations focused on how she was the go-between with Coach Miles and the students and how the actions of her bosses and Les Miles made her uncomfortable. This is the first time she has alleged that she's a direct victim of sexual harassment.
