Football Still Barely Hanging On In National Rankings
LSU fans are shaking their heads in disbelief in how the Tigers struggled last Saturday night against Syracuse. Most experts and fans thought, with the talent LSU has, they shouldn't have had many problems with the Orange. But that really wasn't the case.
LSU beat Syracuse 35-26, but most thought it should have been a one-sided game in the Tigers' favor. Well, by the look of the latest national rankings, the voters agreed with us and the lackluster performance by LSU.
LSU didn't move in the AP poll, staying ranked #25. which is exactly where they were last week. The Tigers. however. did move up one slot in the coaches poll from #23 last week, to #22 this week.
Next up for the Tigers: a home game against Troy this Saturday night at Tigers stadium at 6:00 p.m.The game will be on ESPNU.
