Our healthcare workers are real-life superheroes, and we cannot say thanks enough. This week, one Louisiana hero gave it all.

Larrice Anderson has been a frontline ER nurse in New Orleans for 12 years. As COVID-19 cases began to flood New Orleans East Hospital and our entire state in general, she did what all heroes do when facing danger. She took it head-on, helping as many Coronavirus patients as she possibly could before unfortunately contracting the virus herself. We lost Anderson on Wednesday.

Anderson’s employer released a statement remembering the fallen nurse as “a mother, friend, caring nurse, New Orleans East Hospital and LCMC Health family members.”

Please join us in keeping Anderson, her family, and all of our incredible healthcare workers in our thoughts and prayers.
