BECI Offers College Scholarships To SW Louisiana Students

Beauregard Electric Cooperative, Inc. is now holding registration from first-year and current college students for 15 one-year scholarships.

Since 1993 BECI has awarded scholarships to over 180 students in their service area totaling over $241,000. High School seniors and full-time college students are eligible to win a scholarship. The deadline to apply is March 4, 2022.

The 15 one-year scholarships are valued at $1,500 each. There are some qualifications that students have to meet to be eligible to receive the scholarship.

BECI Scholarship Qualifications:

• Applicants must be a BECI member or a child or legal ward of a BECI member
• Your account must be in good standing for 12 consecutive months
• The student must attend any accredited institution of higher learning in Louisiana on a full-time basis

Student applicants don't have to present to win. The 15 winners will be selected randomly at the BECI annual meeting held on March 26, 2022.
