According to the April 3, 2020 noon update from the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), 10,297 (up from 9,150 on 4/2) total cases of coronavirus have now been confirmed in Louisiana. There are currently 1,707 COVID-19 patients in hospitals (up from 1,639 on 4/2), 535 (up from 507 on 4/2) of which are on ventilators.

Of Louisiana's 64 parishes, 61 (unchanged from 61 on 4/2) have reported cases. There have been 370 total deaths (up from from 310 on 4/2) reported statewide.
