4:00 PM Advisory for Hurricane Delta
The National Hurricane Center has released their 4:00 pm advisory for Hurricane Delta for Tuesday, October 6th. The advisory states: "Extremely dangerous Category four Hurricane Delta heading toward the northeastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. Expected to bring a life threatening storm surge and extreme winds."

- About 250 miles east southeast of Cozumel, Mexico
- About 240 miles east southeast of Tulum, Mexico
- Maximum sustained winds 145 MPH
- Present movement is WNW at 17 MPH
- Hurricane warning in effect from Tulum, Mexico to Dzilam, Meico, and Cozumel, Mexico
