The 2014 LSU Tigers Football recruiting class has been ranked as the #2 recruiting class in the nation by ESPN.com.  The Tigers Football team signed 22 new high school football players from all over the country.

Two of the players are from right here in Southwest Louisiana.

If your wondering, ESPN ranked Alabama number one followed by LSU.  Then it was Florida State at number three, Texas A&M at four and surprisingly Tennessee at number five.  Wow the SEC representing four of the top five slots!  That just shows you why the SEC is always in the thick of the National championship talk.

Two players came from right here in Southwest Louisiana.  Trey Quinn who is a wide receiver came from Barbe High School and Jacory Washington is a tight end from Westlake High School. Also, LSU grabbed the #1 recruited player in the country in Running back Leonard Fournette from Saint Augustine HS in New Orleans.
