"Catch me dat"
"Pass a good time"
"Save the dishes"

I've lived in Louisiana less than a year now, so I'm still learning the language - and I don't mean French. When people not from Louisiana think of Louisiana, they probably think of Cajun French - which we have, sure. But people use a lot of English here, too. It's just not the same kind of English everyone else uses.

To make learning fun, I used this online tool to whip up a few game show word puzzles to help with getting a handle on the very unique way people use words around here. See how many you can solve.

Just pretend it's the final round and you can't pick any more letters. Oh, and I've already filled in all the R, S, T, L, N and E blanks for you.

Have fun!
