Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaque Dedication This Saturday

The Dedication of the Plaque at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is this Saturday at 10am on the lakefront in Lake Charles.

The event starts at 10am and here is a rundown of all the events:

A Farewell to Warrior Ceremony ( VVA Chapter #215)

The POW/MIA Prayer (VVA 215 Chaplin Elliott Fontenot)

The Huey name Dedication (VVA Chapter #215)

The 21 Gun Salute ( Marine Corps League SWLA Detachment #535)

Taps: Jacob Williams a  McNeese State University Student

Conclusion:

An After-Ceremony gathering will be held at the American Legi0n Post #1 where the Video "The Man in the Door" will be shown.

Veterans of the Vietnam War are encouraged to attend & anyone who has served in the Armed Forces.  The public is also encouraged to attend this dedication.

It all starts at 10am this Saturday April 30th at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park.
