Update: CPSO Identifies Possible Murder/Suicide Victims

The following is a press release from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office:

On May 23, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a possible shooting at a mobile home at 6008 Southernwood Drive in Lake Charles.

The investigation revealed an 11-year old boy found his mother Sheree Lynn Cruz, 38, and Adam Keith Brown, 39, dead from gunshot wounds. The investigation is in the preliminary stages but it appears to be a murder-suicide.

CPSO Detective Randy Curtis is the lead investigator in this case.
