According to reports from CNN, at least two people have been wounded in today's  shooting at Lone Star College in north Houston.

Shortly after the incident, CNN stated a suspect was in custody, but that could not be immediately confirmed.  News cameras showed students running away with their hands up, as police entered a building on or near the campus.

Houston's KTRK-TV reported that minutes after the shooting officers were focusing on the campus' library.  At least one victim was given medical treatment at Ben Taub General Hospital after the shooting.

Vicki Cassidy, manager of media relations told news camera's, "We know that shots have been fired and we are in a shelter-in-place situation on the campus."It's a pretty chaotic scene at this point in time."

Though the situation is now under control, SWAT teams were searching buildings for a man who allegedly shot three people at the Lone Star College-North Harris Campus, 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive.  Just after 2 p.m. today the official college Twitter account reported: "Shooting around 12:31 today at LSC-North Harris between two individuals, three shot. Danger has been mitigated. Situation under control."

Then, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported about 2:30 p.m. that one suspect is in custody and "their role in this incident is under investigation."  According to the Sheriff's Office, there were three victims transported to area hospitals their and their condition unknown at this time

One person was in handcuffs and inside a Harris County Sheriff's Department vehicle. One suspect was described as a black male wearing a red Atlanta Falcons hat and red shirt, and was last seen running from one building to another.

One of the victims has been identified by his uncle Reginald Neal, who reported his nephew, Jody Neal , 24, was one of the people who got shot saying, "All I know he got shot three times. That's all I know.  He got shot in one of his arms, in the stomach and the leg.  Jody's sister said, he was sitting in the study room. There (were) three people on the computer and a guy walked up the stairs and opened fire on him.  Adding that witnesses said only one person came in the class with a gun.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said it would post more info as it becomes available on its Facebook.
