Trash And Garbage Collection Schedule For Thanksgiving Week Holiday

With the Thanksgiving holiday fast approaching, people all are getting ready to have family and friends over for Thanksgiving festivities.

That means you will probably accumulate a lot of trash during this time.  Well we wanted to pass along the times for garbage and trash pick up in your area.

The City Of Lake Charles informed us that they will observe the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 24.

There will be no trash or garbage collection on that day.  Trash and garbage regularly scheduled for pickup on Thursday will be rescheduled for pickup on Friday, November 25.

Trash and garbage regularly scheduled for pick up on Friday will be rescheduled for Saturday, November 26th.

The Calcasieu Police Jury issued this press release,

In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 24^th, the following trash collection service will be altered:

·         Jim Bill - customers whose trash and garbage pickup is normally scheduled on Thursday will be collected on Friday, November 25^th.

Waste Management will continue on their normal trash collection schedule both Thursday, November 24^th and Friday, November 25th.

All Police Jury departments will be closed on Thursday, November 24^th and Friday, November 25^th to observe the Thanksgiving Holiday. Offices will re-open Monday, November 28^th.
