The New Orleans Saints finished the regular season at a not to shabby 11-5 and was the #5 seed heading into the Wild Card Playoff game Yesterday.  The Saints didn't have a lot of things going for them heading into the game against Seattle.

The 2010 season for the New Orleans Saints ended in the northwest as they fell to the Seattle Seahawks 41-36 in the NFC Wild Card playoff game.

New Orleans jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, but Seattle rallied with a touchdown before the end of the first period and then after trailing 17-7 in the second quarter managed to rail off 17 straight points to take a lead at halftime that they would not relinquish.

via Saints See Season End With 41-36 loss.
The Saints had 3 key offensive starters already out for the game in Tight End Jimmy Grahm, Running Back Pierre Thomas, and Running Back Chris Ivory. Compund that with the loss of Reggie Bush and Julius Jones during the game, and it was easy to see that Drew Brees and the Saints high powered offense was just crippled.

Well Saints fans there is always next season.
