Travis Matte & The Kingpins have just released their latest CD called "Let's Party". This is the 8th CD that Travis Matte & the Kingpins have released. Their first CD came out in 2004 called "Dis ain'tcha momma's Zodico" which featured his first hit "Bar be Que and Drink a few".
The new CD features 13 new songs and what is impressive is that Travis Matte wrote every song on the new CD.
May 7, 2012 The second weekend of Contraband Days is coming up and this Saturday May 12th, they will have and all start lineup of Cajun music playing from Noon to 9:30 p.m. All bands will perform live on the Malibu Rum Outdoor Stage, presented by Contraband Days & Cajun Radio
The music will be non stop for almost 10 hours leading up to the fireworks show. Who do you want to see? take our poll!
May 1, 2012 The 55th annual Contraband Days festival kicks off today for two weeks in downtown Lake Charles on the Civic Center grounds.
Jean Lafitte and his band of pirates will take over the city for two weeks packed full of great entertainment, carnival rides for the kids and lots of great food!
Also, Saturday May 12th, Contraband Days will have Cajun and Zydeco bands playing all day into the night on the outdoor Malibu Rum Stage.
April 30, 2012 Travis Matte's latest project "Let's Party" is due out in stores in early May. Travis will be making his first appearance ever at L'Auberge Du Lac Casino this Wednesday night playing in the Jack Daniels Bar & Grill.

April 24, 2012 L'Auberge Du Lac Casino Resort is going to have two Cajun/Zydeco artists headline one of their Liquid Society pool parties.
L'Auberge released their lineup for the 2012 Liquid Society pool parties which includes some major national acts. The first party is Thursday May 24th when former Poison front man Brett Michaels will perform. Here are some other notable acts coming.
