The preseason Associated Press (AP) poll has been released and the LSU Tigers football team finds themselves ranked in the #3 spot in the poll. The Tigers were the #1 ranking in the USA Today/Coaches poll.  Did the loss of Tyrann Mathieu from the LSU football team cause them to drop in the rankings?

The LSU Tigers have been ranked #1 in the USA Today Coaches Poll today.  The Tigers edged out Alabama for the top spot even though Alabama won the national championship last season. Are you all laughing because you know I am.  Here is the complete list of the top 25 preseason coaches poll.

Former Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden has transferred to LSU.  ESPN is reporting that Bolden, who has spent the past two years at Penn State wanted to transfer after the 2011 season but Coach Joe Paterno refused to release him from his scholarship. How long will it take for Bolden to make it to LSU and start practicing?  The answer might shock you.
